Our Mission
Cathedral High School is a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory community of learners committed to spiritual development and academic excellence within the context of the Gospel values of justice, peace, love and service. Our goal is to educate the whole person spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically to accept full citizenship in the world.

Cathedral High School enrolls students in good academic standing into grades 9, 10 & 11. Cathedral High School offers a challenging college preparatory curriculum with numerous Honors and Advanced Placement level classes.

Cathedral High School offers a competitive Division 1 sports program for young men and women including 'no cut' sports such as football, wrestling, cross country, indoor and outdoor track, and swimming. Cathedral High School offers a number of clubs and activities to suit all interests, among them, the adventure club, which offers members the opportunity for hiking, rafting, and bicycling.

Application Information and Procedure

Applicants for the 9th grade must:

  • Complete a Cathedral High School Application for Admission. The completed application with a $25.00 application fee will register the applicant to take the Entrance Exam.
  • Take the Entrance Exam for Cathedral High School, or provide current standardized test scores.
  • Forward a copy of the applicant’s most recent report card.

Applicants for transfer admission into grades 10 or 11 must:

  • Complete a Cathedral High School Application for Admission
  • Take the Cathedral Placement Exam or provide current standardized test scores
  • Forward a copy of the applicant's high school transcript
