Financial Aid Information
General Information Cathedral High School offers confidential
need based financial aid to families that apply and qualify.
The Diocese of Springfield also offers need based financial aid to qualifying
Catholic families with children attending Cathedral and other Catholic
schools in the Diocese. Verification of active membership in a Diocesan
parish is required before an award can be made.
Both Cathedral High Scool and the Diocese of Springfield utilize FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, a third party financial need analysis firm. The FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is a single, easy to follow form, used to apply for financial aid consideration from both the Cathedral High School and the Diocesan financial aid programs.
Filing Deadline for Financial Aid is March 14,
2008! To ensure adequate consideration, applicants are encouraged to
apply on time! Depending on demand for resources, families applying after
the March 14, 2008 deadline may not be eligible for awards or may receive
reduced awards!

Application Process
In order to be considered for a financial aid award,
Families must complete
an application called the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment form. Families may use the traditional form available at Cathedral High School or apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com.
The FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment must be filed annually.
The traditional form must be mailed directly to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, PO Box 5688, Lincoln, NE 68505, along with a $20 application
fee in the envelope provided.

Awarding of Financial Aid
Financial Aid awards will be made by late May 2008 and in most cases will
be reflected on the initial billing statements for the upcoming school
year. Award notification letters are mailed to recipients. Non-qualifying
applicants are also provided notification by letter.
