Annual Fund Campaign
Leadership Donor Program

Cathedral has launched an Annual Fund Campaign, Leadership Donor Program. The Leadership Donor Program is the next advancement building block that needs to be secured in the continuing evolution of Cathedral’s alumni stepping forward to safeguard the school’s legacy into the long-term future.

If Cathedral, through the Advancement Office, with the Advancement Committee, can grow a large group of supportive major donors, we will have established a strong foundation upon which Cathedral can prosper and flourish. The success of this Leadership Donor Program can eventually lead to the launching of a Capital Campaign.

The Leadership Donor Program has two goals, to expand the number of major donors, and to educate our graduates to the present and future needs of Cathedral. Cathedral needs its alumni and friends to understand and accept that the future prosperity of the school will be in a large part the responsibility of our collective concern, and the individual financial commitment of as many alumni and friends as can be shown the importance of actively supporting Cathedral.

The Leadership Donor Program seeks annual unrestricted gift to the Annual Fund Campaign in one of three giving society categories:

  • The Leadership Society Gifts of $1,000 to $2,499
  • Leadership Giving Gifts of $2,500 to $4,999
  • Major Gifts Gifts of $5,000 and above

The definition of a major gift to Cathedral High School is an Annual Fund Campaign donation of $1,000 or more.

The Leadership Donor Program seeks to increase the number of major donors. The following is a list of last fiscal year’s donors (2002-2003):

The Leadership Society 44 gifts $32,437
Leadership Giving 8 gifts $22,282
Major Gifts 10 gifts $195,900
