  • Provide students with experiences that promote individual learning styles, self-awareness, self-motivation, self-expression and self-esteem.
  • Provide experiences in concept development, interpretation, application and evaluation, creative problem solving, critical thinking and expression.
  • Promote interdisciplinary experiences which aid students in the integration of ideas, concepts and processes, and in a holistic perception of their world.
  • Promote understanding of the diverse cultures in society as reflected in the arts in order to prepare students to appropriately participate in the present and contribute to the future.
