INTERNATIONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE

From April 19-27, 2012, Cathedral students, families, faculty and friends will travel to Spain. Our tour will begin in Barcelona and will include Cordoba, Granada, Madrid and Toldedo. For more information, please contact Lynn Callahan at lcallahan@cathedralhigh.org.

Foreign Language Month
Students will once again participate in a variety of activities designed to focus on the importance of learning a foreign language. Activities may include participation in the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association (MaFLA) poster and essay contests as well as Morning and Afternoon Prayers in different languages, a Cultural Trivia Contest, and International Lunches for students and faculty.

 

November 2
Day of the Dead
Students will follow this Mexican tradition of honoring the life and celebrating the memory of loved ones who have died. Our celebration will include a prayer service, traditional foods, special music and opportunities to grasp the culture of the Day of the Dead (El Dia de los Muertos)
 
"LES MISERABLES" PERFORMANCE, March 2012
On Tuesday, March 6, 2012, students in the French and music classes will travel to The Bushnell in Hartford, Connecticut for the opening night performance of “Les Miserables.”
