School Counseling Department Welcome to the Cathedral High School Counseling Department Home Page. The Counseling Department seeks to help students improve their self-understanding in light of their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, and by integrating our own resources with those of parents, teachers, administrators, and community services. All juniors will take the PSAT during school hours on October 17. There is no need to pre-register or pay a fee. All sophomores will take the ACT-PLAN on October 17 and there is also no need for them to pre-register for that test. There are a limited number of slots available for sophomores interested in taking the PSAT and there will be a fee charged if you decide to take the PSAT rather than the ACT-PLAN. Sophomores interested in the PSAT should see their school counselor. These tests are given only once a year and there are no makeup dates, so if you are absent that day there will not be an opportunity to take it on a different date Students are assigned to a counselor by the first initial of their surname
as follows: Marie Hennessy, Adjustment Counselor Kathryn Guilmette, Administrative Assistant (You will need Acrobat Reader to be able to read the form. If you do not have it on your computer, please double click the Acrobat Reader Icon.) |
