Mission Statement
| Cathedral High School is a Catholic, college preparatory community of learners committed to spiritual development and academic excellence within the context
of the Gospel values of justice, peace, love, and service. Our goal is to educate the whole person spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically to accept full citizenship in the
world. |
Type
We are a 4-year, college preparatory, co-educational Catholic high school
with college preparatory, business and technology, as well as general
studies. Our student body numbers about 350. These students represent
numerous parishes and come from Catholic elementary schools as middle
and charter schools in Springfield and surrounding areas. Approximately
96 percent of our graduates continue studies beyond high school. Our students
follow a seven period schedule within which one full credit in religion
is required each year.

Faculty
Forty-four educators and administrators staff Cathedral High School. Seventy
percent of the faculty has been at Cathedral more than five years. While
ninety-nine percent of the faculty and administration hold Bachelor's
Degrees, sixty-one percent hold a Master's Degree or more in educational
preparation and one teacher holds a Doctoral Degree.
