| Cathedral High School is a Catholic, college preparatory community of learners committed to spiritual development and academic excellence within the context
of the Gospel values of justice, peace, love, and service. Our goal is to educate the whole person spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically to accept full citizenship in the
world. |
Type
We are a 4-year, college preparatory, co-educational Catholic high school with college preparatory, business and technology, as well as general studies. Our student body numbers about 598. These students represent 53 parishes and come from 14 Catholic elementary and 22 junior high, middle and charter schools in Springfield and surrounding areas. Approximately 97 percent of our graduates continue studies beyond high school. Our students follow a seven period schedule within which one full credit in religion is required each year.

Faculty
Fifty six educators and administrators staff Cathedral High School. Fifty two percent of the faculty has been at Cathedral more than five years. While one hundred percent of the faculty and administration hold Bachelor’s Degrees, fifty seven percent hold a Master’s Degree or more in educational preparation and one holds a Doctoral Degree.
