In developing the goals for Cathedral High School, it was necessary to review and incorporate the core concepts of Science and Technology as presented in the frameworks for curriculum development as proposed by the Massachusetts Department of Education.
It is the intention of the science department to incorporate into the science curriculum the following four goals, 1. Scientific knowledge, 2. skills, 3. application and 4. diversity. Each of these goals is further classified into three levels: personal social and technological as explained in the following outline.
