On Saturday, March 13 Conor Reynolds, a senior at Cathedral, died.

Cathedral held a vigil in memory of Conor on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 8:30 PM in the school auditorium. Several hundred students and members of the larger Cathedral community joined together to remember a classmate, friend, teammate. Bishop Timothy McDonnell, Mayor Sarno and many adults implored the congregation to refrain from violence and to work together to end the senseless violence that took Conor's life. Friends and classmates of Conor spoke in loving remembrance of someone who had a quick smile and a zest for life.

           Dickinson & Alderman Streets, Springfield

Conor's older brother, Brendan, graduated from Cathedral in 2008 and he has a younger brother, Ryan, who is a member of the Class of 2013.
