The Technology and Business Department of Cathedral High School has a program that provides the student with:
- an integration of the basic skills (reading, writing, and computing)
and the higher-order skills (thinking, reasoning, problem-solving, and decision making).
- knowledge, attitude, and skills needed by all citizens to manage their personal business growth and to understand
the American economic and social system.
- occupational knowledge and skills needed for successful entry-level employment and advancement in a broad range of business careers.
- a basis for those planning post-secondary education.
- an appreciation for, and an understanding of employment and higher education standards, work habits and attitudes necessary for success in the
work and college environment.
- an appreciation for, and an understanding of, the importance of personal as well as business ethics and policies.
- an appreciation for, and an understanding of, the rapidly advancing technological world we live in.
